Spent the day at Arlington Cemetery for my birthday. It was a beautiful day being outside and away from the TV.
The Skids were a precursor to Big Country. Many of the same guys from the Skids were also apart of Big Country. Great stuff.
Aperture 3 v. Lightroom 3
I’ve had Lightroom 2 for a couple of years and have enjoyed the experience. With the release of Aperture 3 I’ve been curious about the program since the update. Any one have any ideas whether or not it’s worth it to switch?
I’ve been trying to find more reviews from people with experience with both programs. All I find is reviews like this one from Photography for Real Estate.
Photo’s already a few week’s old, but I remember fondly how paralyzed the city was while buried underneath all this snow.

Reminds me of areas around where I grew up in West Michigan except with fewer trees. I found a big blue sky like this both mesmerizing and also sad because I don’t see them here in DC.
Found out about these guys last week. They are no longer putting out music, but I found this album as a free download and have enjoyed it. It’s not for everyone and most will find it unsettling, but it grows on you with each listen.
Interesting juxtaposition between mountain and town below. Not particularly pretty or beautiful, but I liked the content of the photo nonetheless.
